Commercial relationships and conflicts of interest
We publish this page to make it easy for readers to assess the independence of our coverage. If a relationship below should preclude trust in a specific ranking, write us and we will say so.
How we operate
The Augmented Clinician is a small editorial project run by practicing clinicians. We are not currently funded by venture capital, sponsored by a vendor, or owned by a healthcare company. Operating costs (hosting, domain, software) are covered by the editorial team out of pocket.
Current commercial relationships
None at the time of publication. If this changes — for example, if we introduce affiliate links, sponsorships, or paid partnerships — it will be disclosed here within 24 hours, and the affected rankings will be reviewed by a recused team member.
Editorial recusals
Where any editorial team member has a prior relationship with a vendor (former employer, advisory role, paid consulting), that member is recused from scoring or writing about that vendor. The list of active recusals is maintained internally and surfaced here if it ever affects published material.
